Priv.-Doz. Dr. Rainer Mittermayr

Priv.-Doz. Dr. Rainer Mittermayr, MBA, is a specialist in orthopaedics and traumatology and a team leader at the Vienna Meidling trauma centre, where he heads the shockwave outpatient clinic and the shoulder team. He also heads the shoulder group at the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Experimental and Clinical Traumatology and lectures at MUV and SFU.

He is Treasurer on the ISMST executive board, a past ISMST president (2012), and a scientific advisor on the executive board of the Austrian Society for Trauma Surgery.
